Marty grew up in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, and Maine. He was blessed to be raised in a Christian family and came to Christ at a young age. He attended the University of Delaware and Princeton University. He and his wife Nicole have a long history of collegiate ministry and are also foster and adoptive parents. His interests include computer science, board games, and spending time with friends and family.
Marty is a Professor of Practice in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Texas A&M University. He has previously taught at the United States Air Force Academy, Carnegie Mellon University, and Auburn University.
