Mark grew up in Maryland and Texas graduating from Richardson High School. He came to faith in high school and became active in missions immediately thereafter. He attended Baylor University graduating with a BBA in Accounting. He married his wife, Deborah, in 1980. The Lord has blessed them with six children—Mariah, Jordan, Marin, Hannah, Victoria, and Oksana—and ten grandchildren. His interests include reading, college football, golfing, and spending time with his ever-growing family.

In addition to serving as Missions Director, Mark is the System Chief Information Officer for the Texas A&M University System and he is the Chairman of the Board for Training Leaders International and To Every Tribe Ministries, two reformed mission organizations. Mark is a C.P.A. and has earned a Masters of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary.
