Herman was born in California and raised in Sour Lake, Texas where Jesus saved him as a child. He began to take his Christian walk seriously as a teenager when he realized the importance and power of living a daily life with Christ and that being a disciple of Jesus was more important than simply going to church. Herman holds a BA in Psychology from Baylor University and works as a customer service representative for Reynolds and Reynolds. He and his wife, Mary, joined New Life in 2019.
Herman loves the multi-generational life groups and expositional preaching at New Life and appreciates the honest leadership and involvement of the church body in church decisions. An extreme extrovert and faithful encourager, he is passionate about uplifting others and expressing creativity through Audio/Visual production. In his free time, Herman enjoys adventuring to renaissance festivals, concerts, and pro-wrestling events as well as hanging out to play board games with friends.
