Emma grew up in eastern North Carolina where she was immensely blessed to be raised in a Christian home. She doesn’t remember a time when she wasn’t trusting Christ. Her faith began to deepen in high school and continued to grow through her time at North Carolina State University, where she received a BS in Chemical Engineering. Emma and her husband, Stephen, have lived all over the country from Utah and New Mexico to multiple locations in Texas. In 2019 they moved their family to the Brazos Valley, and shortly thereafter joined New Life.
The vibrant Life Group community and faithful shepherding of the elders are some of Emma’s favorite things about New Life. She is passionate about coming alongside parents to teach and demonstrate God’s Word to preschoolers and enjoys seeing families of all ages worship and grow together. A full-time homemaker and homeschooling mother of four, Emma spends any free time she has working on DIY home projects and cooking up yummy treats for her family and friends.
