Dona is a California native, born and raised in San Diego, CA. Her family took her to church regularly growing up, but Christianity was something her family did, not anything Dona truly believed. It wasn’t until middle school when her youth pastor presented the gospel on a Sunday morning that the Holy Spirit began to move and reveal her deep sin and need for Christ. A week later, after many conversations with her Grandpa, the Lord granted her the gift of repentance and she turned to Christ in Faith.
In 2023, Dona moved to College Station, TX with her husband, Joshua, who is the Equipping Pastor, with their four children. She has been grateful for the Lord’s provision of New Life. Dona’s greatest earthly joys are her husband and children, she enjoys using her gift of hospitality to grow in relationship with those in and outside the church, and in her free-time she enjoys exercising, reading books, drinking coffee, quality time with a friend, and researching Classical curriculum.
