Calvin was born in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota to a loving household of faith, where he grew up constantly surrounded by the word of God and gospel conversations with his family. In 2014 Calvin’s parents followed the Lord’s calling into missions and moved to South Korea to share the gospel and their lives with the military community. Their faithful obedience to the Lord opened up his eyes to the importance of the gospel, and he gave his life to Jesus soon after.
Calvin first came to New Life in the Fall of 2022 while beginning his first semester at Texas A&M. Drawn to the faithful preaching, intentional community, and gospel emphasis of the church, he became a member around a year later. Calvin now serves as a college ministry intern and joyfully welcomes his fellow college students into what God is doing at New Life. In his free time, Calvin enjoys the outdoors, reading a good book, and spending time with friends.
