Sarah is thankful to have been born a native Texan, even though she was transplanted to the Southwest Florida coast at the age of two. God graciously saved her as a preteen, opening her eyes to the overwhelming mercy found at the cross. A homeschool graduate, Sarah received her degree in history from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2008. After numerous adventures in teaching, she moved back to Texas to fulfill her lifelong dream of earning an Aggie Ring, completing her Master of International Affairs degree at Texas A&M in 2018.

God has used Sarah’s experiences as a pastor’s daughter to kindle a deep love for the local church. She loves seeing families worshiping together at New Life and sitting under faithful expositional teaching. She is passionate about sharing the Gospel with children and equipping the church to serve well locally and internationally. Sarah is an avid researcher and writer who in her free time reads widely, sings opera, watches crime shows, and enjoys a good cup of tea. She travels to Florida as often as she can to spend time as Aunt Maggie to her 14 nieces and nephews.
