The Danger of Disobedience

Sep 23, 2018

Passage: Ezra 4:6-24

Preacher: Allen Duty

Series: Renewed Worship: The Book of Ezra

Category: Sunday Morning

Summary:

After the exiles finished laying the foundation of the temple, they experienced opposition from the people around them. The opposition was private and informal, taking the form of discouragement, fear, and obstruction. Today, the opposition becomes public and formal, officially sponsored by the government. It would be dangerous to disobey the king, resulting in fines, imprisonment, or death. But what we'll learn is that disobeying God is more dangerous than disobeying man.
