COLLEGE

MEANINGFUL CONNECTION

College is an incredible time for growth in community with believers that are older. In 1 Timothy 4:11-15 we find the following, “Command and teach these things. Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress.”

At New Life, our college ministry seeks to bring college students together for Bible study, fellowship, and outreach on campus, and bring them into community with the rest of the church body in multigenerational life groups, discipleship classes, and service. We see the benefits of college students encouraging one another as peers and getting to learn from and teach adults of all ages. We are excited to get to grow alongside you and welcome you into community to be exhorted and to exhort.

On most Sundays throughout the year, you can find our college students staying after the 9:15am service to enjoy Coffee & Conversation with one another. This provides a time for connection, community and applying the truths of the sermon to our everyday lives.
